Just Keepin' On!

Well, well, well, look who we have here! A 66-year-old woman crafter trying to learn technology! I've come a long way in my journey from when “technology” meant an electric typewriter, Wite-out correction fluid, and a touch-tone telephone.   I may have come a long way but I still have a long way to go!

Imagine me sitting here peering at my computer screen through my bifocals wondering how to link Facebook to Instagram and how to hook up all of the hardware used for streaming videos.  Don't even get me started on Etsy and managing a website.  Oh, and now I need StreamYard, a business coach, tax documents, a website, high-speed internet, endless business supplies, and a virtual assistant.  Holy smokes, I just want to create crafts, sell them, and teach others who want to learn how to make stuff, AND make enough money to supplement the income of a “retired” worker.  (Y’all know that it costs $100 or more for a trip to the grocery store for 4 bags of food, right?)

Ok, enough venting.  Let me just say that I am developing awesome friendships, keeping my brain active, contributing to the huge community of crafters, and keeping my hands busy.  And then there’s this other surprising thing: Being a creator draws me near to THE CREATOR.  The connections are simply AMAZING!
