Crafty Saturday

Hello creative souls!

I'm excited to share with you the highlights of my Saturday which included being presenter in a 2-day Facebook event titled "Mother's Day Gift Parade."  The event is sponsored by Wreaths, Workforms, and More! Creative folks from all across the country are participating in this amazing event, each sharing a 55-minute live tutorial showing how to make a project.

And guess what? Yours truly, along with Jody Jeffries of Cody's Paint Studio in Baker City, Oregon, kicked off the presentation yesterday at 7 a.m. Jody was the camera girl and kept the conversation going while I showed everyone how to make a stunning sign using a Magnolia Design Co. stencil, decoupage paper, and IOD molds and clay. It was so much fun to share my crafting knowledge with so many people from all over the country.

Later that same day, I taught a Junk Journal class to a group of local ladies, and it was an absolute blast! We spent hours crafting and chatting about all things creative. By the end of the day, I was exhausted but so satisfied with how the event had gone.

When I got home, I made myself a healthy dinner, then promptly took a catnap in my chair. After that, I watched a bit of TV before heading off to bed early, and I promptly fell asleep. It had been a long but incredibly satisfying day.

I'm so grateful to have so many supportive and TALENTED women in my life and to have been a part of such a memorable weekend. It was such a wonderful opportunity to connect with other creative folks from all over the country, and I can't wait for the next event like this one.
